Two Weeks Remain to Support Gray Whale Monitoring!!
We are only TWO WEEKS from the deadline for raising $20,000.00 in funding to support the monitoring of gray whale health and condition in Laguna San Ignacio during their 2021 winter breeding season in the wake of the “Unusual Mortality Event of 2019-2020.”

THANKS TO YOUR GENEROUS RESPONSE we are only $4,000.00 short of our goal. If you have already contributed to this effort, we are grateful and thank you for your support and endorsement. If you have not, please consider contributing any amount now to bring us closer to, or even to exceed our goal before September 15th, 2020!
ENLIST SYMPATHETIC FRIENDS TO HELP: To help you help us, please send this message to friends who support marine conservation, that value our work, and who share your compassion and commitment to support gray whale research and conservation during this difficult time. Please, if you will, send along this email letter to five of your friends and ask them if they would be willing to make a donation in any amount… REMEMBER, every dollar contributed before the September 15, 2020 will be matched, and thus doubling the amount donated.
Tax deductible charitable donations may be made safely and securely through our non-profit sponsor The Ocean Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charitable environmental organization under U.S. tax law. Just go to our website page at: https://www.sanignaciograywhales.org/donate/
Or if you prefer, you may also send a personal check to:
The Ocean Foundation – LSIESP Project, 1320 19th Street, N.W., 5th Floor, The Sunderland Building, Washington, D.C. 20036
Your continuing support is needed to reach our funding goal to carry out this important conservation science for Gray Whales, and for the protection of their winter breeding lagoons in Baja California Sur, Mexico. It is, by any measure, one of the most extraordinary regions on earth.
Thank you most sincerely,
Steven L. Swartz, LSIESP Co-Director and Senior Scientist
